A pilot multi-cathode cell is the step between a bench cell and a tankhouse. Six cathodes and five anodes on a 40 mm spacing reproduce the electrode geometry, current density and electrolyte flow of a production cell, so current efficiency, cathode quality and specific energy consumption can be measured on a continuous circulating electrolyte rather than on a 1 L beaker.
The skid carries the cell, a 100 L circulation tank, a magnetic-drive pump and a 0-500 A rectifier, so the unit runs as a self-contained circuit: leach or purification liquor in, loaded cathodes and spent electrolyte out. Anode-cathode spacing, current density and circulation rate are all adjustable, which is what makes the unit usable for tankhouse design rather than only for demonstration.
- Built to order
Engineered against your feed assay and throughput - Bench & pilot tested
Sample testing before the flowsheet is frozen - Export documented
Pre-tested, skid-mounted, documented for customs - EN / ES / RU / AR
Technical support in four languages
