Hydrometallurgy Glossary

48 terms across the five process segments — each defined precisely enough to compute with, with its units, its limits and what it is commonly confused with.

Why each entry states its limits — hydrometallurgy reuses the same symbols for slightly different quantities (D, E, O/A, HETS, stage efficiency), and a definition that omits the conditions is worse than none: it gets used. Every entry here gives the quantity, its units and the conditions under which the number means anything. Where a term is routinely misapplied, the entry says so.
